Pros & Cons

Pros

  • High Cashback on Popular Spends: You get 5% cashback on popular online brands like Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, Zomato, and many more, with no minimum transaction value required. This can be a great way to save money on your everyday purchases.
  • Cashback on Other Transactions: Unlike many cards, Millennia offers 1% cashback on wallet reloads, EMI transactions, and even offline purchases (with a minimum transaction value of Rs. 100).
  • Lounge Access: The card comes with 8 complimentary domestic lounge visits per year, which can be a valuable perk for frequent travelers.
  • Other Benefits: You also get a welcome bonus, fuel surcharge waiver, zero lost card liability, and access to exclusive dining discounts.

Cons

  • Caps on Cashback: There’s a monthly cap of Rs. 750 on cashback for online spending (except for the initial 6 months) and Rs. 1000 for all other categories. So, if you’re a high-spender, you might not maximize the cashback benefits.
  • Delayed Reward Posting: Cashback points are not credited instantly and are added in bulk at the beginning of every month.
  • Low Cashback on Offline Spends: The 1% cashback on non-online transactions is lower compared to the cashback offered on specific categories.

HDFC Bank Millenia Credit Card can be a good card for those who spend a lot online, especially on popular brands.
